Places To Live: An Orientation to Alternative Living Arrangements

This orientation is intended for families of individuals served of all ages who are considering moving out of the family home into a different kind of living arrangement.  We present this session as the first formal step towards that move.

In this orientation, we will:

• Review options that exist for family members who need or want to move out of the family home.
• Explore what you and your family member can expect when they move into one of these options.
• Answer any questions you may have about alternative living arrangements.

These presentations will be in English and held via Zoom.

Register by sending an email to:  training.reservations@harborrc.org with the name of the participant, name of the individual served, name of the Service Coordinator, phone number, and email address to add to the registration.  The deadline to register is Tuesday 07/23/24 and 10/07/24. A Zoom link will be sent to the email a week before the orientation. 

Language Interpretation in any language is available for all Harbor Regional Center trainings and events, please request at least five (5) or more business days prior to the event or at the time of registration.

Esta orientación está dirigida a las familias de los individuos atendidos de todas las edades que están considerando mudarse del hogar familiar a un tipo de vivienda diferente.  Presentamos esta sesión como el primer paso formal hacia ese movimiento.

En esta orientación:

• Revisaremos las opciones que existen para los miembros de la familia que necesitan o quieren mudarse del hogar familiar.
• Exploraremos lo que usted y su familiar pueden esperar cuando este se traslade a una de estas opciones.
• Responderemos a cualquier pregunta que pueda tener sobre arreglos de vivienda alternativos.

Estas orientaciones serán en inglés por Zoom.

Inscríbase enviando un correo electrónico a: training.reservations@harborrc.org con el nombre del participante, el nombre del individuo atendido, el nombre del coordinador del servicio, el número de teléfono y la dirección de correo electrónico para añadirlo a la inscripción. La fecha límite para inscribirse es el martes 23/JUL/2024 y el 07/OCT/2024. Una semana antes de la orientación, se enviará un enlace de Zoom. 

La interpretación en cualquier idioma está disponible para todas las capacitaciones y eventos del Centro Regional Harbor; solicítela por lo menos cinco (5) o más días hábiles antes del evento o en el momento de la inscripción.
