For individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, Harbor Regional Center can provide diagnosis and evaluation, information and referral, individual or family service planning, family support, and assistance in finding and using community resources.

Understanding Behavior (6-Week Series)

Presented by Iris Owens, M.A., BCBA

For Caregivers of all Harbor individuals

  • Why tantrums, aggression, and other undesired/unsafe behaviors occur
  • How to respond to these behaviors
  • How to reinforce desired behaviors and teach new behaviors

There will be six sessions held once a week beginning Wednesday, July 17, 2024, and ending on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.  These sessions will be held for two hours each session via Zoom.

The Saturday Speaker Series offers presentations that cover topics that are relevant to all of our families and service providers.  They are presented by Harbor Regional Center staff who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in their areas of expertise.  Presentations are scheduled on Saturday mornings for the convenience of self-advocates, families, and service providers.  Participants will have the opportunity to view the presentation and ask questions.
