As the parent of a child with special needs, you may have experienced a number of challenging transitions. This book is written for parents whose child is approaching age 3 and who are preparing for this most important transition. We begin by defining just what this particular transition is all about and what you can do to prepare for it to ensure smooth sailing for your child and your family. We also offer some tips that can equip you to participate in the transition process as a full partner with the regional center and the school district.
