TransparencyParent Mentor Program
A service for Parents & Caregivers
Harbor Regional Center (HRC) has a Parent Mentor Program to support parents and caregivers to navigate systems and programs that serve individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, such as IHSS, SSI, MediCal, etc. The Parent Mentor can assist by providing step-by-step assistance with accessing services and supports. The Parent Mentor also assists with building a stronger connection between the individual served/family and their HRC team.
If you are interested and would like to be referred to the program, please contact your Service Coordinator.
