Learning About Benefits: Supplemental Security Income (SSI) For Children And Adults With Developmental Disabilities

Presented by Harbor Regional Center’s Benefits Specialist 

This workshop will focus on an important financial support for individuals served, Supplemental Security Income, or SSI. The presentation will include information about the SSI program, eligibility criteria and benefits. Disability benefits, survivor’s benefits and dependent benefits and their effect on SSI will also be discussed.

This presentation will be in English and held via Zoom.

Este taller se centrará en una importante ayuda financiera para el individuo atendido, el Ingreso Suplementario del Seguro o SSI. La presentación incluirá información sobre el programa SSI, los criterios de elegibilidad y los beneficios. También se hablará de los beneficios por discapacidad, de los beneficios por supervivencia y de los beneficios para personas dependientes, así como de su efecto en el SSI.
