Service Providers, also known as vendors, offer a variety of
services for regional center clients and their families.
The first step to becoming a vendor with Harbor Regional Center
(Harbor) is to submit a proposal during the applicable
development cycle. A proposal is comprised of specific
documents requested by Harbor, which demonstrate that the
applicant possesses the necessary, relevant professional
experience and organizational capacity to create and sustain
high-quality, effective, and long-term services for clients
within the Harbor catchment area. The proposal must adhere
to the development cycle guidelines to move forward to the
vendorization process.
Informational Sessions are held on a quarterly basis to share
important information about how Harbor Regional Center develops
Letters of Interest (LOI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP),
location of services, identification of services that are
critical needs, Title 17 and Title 22 requirements, Insurance
requirements for all service providers, and basic program design
expectations. There will be time for questions and answers
for general questions about the overall process.
Next session will be held on Monday, February 17th at
10:30 AM. Please
