The 2012-13 Budget Act again included a requirement for payment  reduction to regional centers and service providers, but at a lower percentage than the last two years.

• The trailer bill implementing the 2012-13 Budget Act includes a 1.25% payment reduction, effective July 1, 2012.
  
• The 1.25% payment reduction represents a partial restoration of payments (by 3%), when compared to the payment reduction of 4.25% which has been in effect since 2010.
  
• This reduction will be applied to Provider of Care Claim documents that are submitted for services beginning in July 2012.
