This class is for parents who would like to learn specific methods for teaching their children adavptive or independent living skills including (but not limited to) grooming, self-help, chores, using community resources, etc.  The techniques learned will work for all age groups, from pre-schoolers to adults.  Participants need to attend a Family Orientation meeting in Behavior Management  if they haven't already done so. If the child has serious behavior problems, parents/family members should first complete a Behavior Management course.
