quality services and supports that help each individual live the most independent life possible

At Harbor Regional Center we offer numerous educational activities throughout the year.  We cover a diverse selection of topics of interest to individuals with disabilities, families, and professional service providers.

Topics include, for example, growth and development; overviews of specific diagnoses such as mental retardation or autism; information about interventions, therapies, and resources; health issues; advocacy and legal issues.

We offer several information & training presentations for parents on topics pertaining to various ages and life stages, including parent training in behavior management, working with the schools, transition from school to adulthood, conservatorship, adult day, work and living options, and more. We also offer computer classes specifically for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Our Training and Events Catalog lists all of the opportunities available through Harbor Regional Center and is published twice a year.
