Harbor Regional Center's Vision Statement includes the following passage:
Adults with developmental disabilities live in the residence of their choice — with their families, with friends, or on their own. They engage in the activities they choose — work, volunteering, education, and socializing. They have meaningful relationships with their friends and co-workers. They are valuable, contributing members of their communities.
Services for adults with developmental disabilities are designed to support individuals to become as independent as possible, and to work towards achieving their own individual goals for a meaningful life.
Your HRC counselor will work with you and your family to assess your needs, and to determine which services are the most appropriate for you.
