Our policies and major financial decisions are made by a volunteer Board of Trustees whose members are people from the community, and include individuals with developmental disabilities, family members, and local leaders. Meetings of the Board are held on the Third Tuesday of each month, except for August and December. Meetings alternate between mornings and evenings, to provide opportunity for people in the community to participate. All regularly scheduled business meetings of the Board are open to the public and visitors are welcome to attend. The meetings are held in Conference Room A-1, on the ground floor of Harbor Regional Center in Torrance.

*The Calfornia state law known as the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act, governs services provided by regional centers, and supercedes regional center service policies. Please note that due to extensive changes in July 2009 to the Lanterman Act, HRC is currently in the process of carefully reviewing our service policies. These service policies will be re-posted on this site as soon as they have been found to be consistent with the State law, or revised and approved as needed.
