Our Mission
In our Mission Statement, Harbor Regional Center expresses our expectation that we will be an agency that makes things happen for people with a developmental disability, and their families.

Board of Trustees
Our policies and major financial decisions are made by a volunteer Board of Trustees whose members are people from the community, and include individuals with developmental disabilities, family members, and local leaders.

Client Advisory Committee
The Client Advisory Committee is a group of Clients who provide input to Harbor Regional Center's Board of Trustees

Who Is Eligible
Regional centers serve people with developmental disabilities and their families, infants at risk for developmental disabilities, and pregnant women who are at risk for having a child with this type of disability.

Harbor Help Fund
While our clients and their families receive a wide range of services and supports through the regional center, many often have additional needs that fall outside of our guidelines for purchasing or providing services.

Organizational Structure
In 1965, the California Legislature determined that the best way to provide community-based services to citizens with developmental disabilities and their families was through partnerships with local private sector organizations.

Locations
Harbor Regional Center's main office is in Torrance. It is located at 21231 Hawthorne Blvd. There is parking located all around the building.

Demographics
Each year Harbor Regional Center reviews demographic information to learn more about the individuals with developmental disabilities whom we currently serve.
