HRC Publications Harbor Regional Center publishes many informational newsletters, brochures, booklets, and multi-media products such as videos and CDROM. These materials are developed to provide you with the information you need about developmental disabilities, training and support services, and how to benefit from services which are available.
Resource Library The Resource Library has literally thousands of books, pamphlets, videos and DVDs, journals, brochures, audiotapes, software and multimedia items for you to use on-site or to check out and take home.

Resource Directories We maintain several specialized resource directories tailored to specific interest areas, which are updated regularly.
Support Groups Harbor Regional Center offers more than 20 support groups of various types to serve all kinds of people - parents, grandparents, siblings, single parents, disabled parents, to name a few.
Assistive Technology Lab The Assistive Technology (AT) Lab at Harbor Regional Center assists children and adults in leading more independent lives through the use of assistive technology.
Computer Training Center The HRC Computer Center offers classes geared for HRC clients with developmental disabilities in beginning or intermediate level computer skills, and features examples of useful and adaptive software.
Health and Wellness This section of Harbor Regional Center's website will offer tools to assist you to support optimal health and wellness for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Parent Mentors
Helpline Our Help Line is staffed by understanding parents and staff who know from their own personal experience what you are feeling. Our staff is trained to answer your questions, make appropriate referrals, and to assist you in locating the resources you need.
Special Education Information The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is the federal law that governs how children with disabilities are educated. Recent amendments contain provisions that will affect regional center clients - some modestly and some more significantly.
Other Resource Centers The California Early Start Program through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is the sponsor of 3 other Family Resource Centers located within the Harbor Regional Center service area.
